Newly Formed Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)

After a five year break, on April 1st, 2010, the Parent Teacher Student Association was again launched and elected the following new officers:

President: Kaylynn Schrack
Vice President: Mary Comolli
Secretary: Amy Stevenson
Treasurer: Andrea Laughlin

What does the PTA provide?
•    A bridge to better communicate between parents, teachers, & students;
•    An organization that works with the school administration and the community to make sure your concerns are heard;
•    A support group working for the education, health, safety, and well-being of all Hoonah  children;
•    A helping hand to the school to develop a richer learning environment;
•    A “PEP CLUB” for Hoonah City Schools;

Who can join the PTA?

•    Everyone who cares about children and our school are welcome to join: Parents, Teachers, Students, Guardians, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and other community   members.
