Dr. PJ Ford-Slack's expertise spans the Pacific Rim in the areas of special education and advocacy for students and adults with supports in the work place or tertiary education. PJ has international experience mentoring teachers and principals. Her work focuses on organizational problem solving, curriculum supports for all students, educational leadership, and teacher mentorship.
PJ is skilled at both organizational diagnosis and problem solving. She is committed to First Nation Language acquisition and maintenance. Her strengths include Special Education and other life challenging condition supports and adjustments in primary or tertiary education.
Using a common sense approach to educational adjustments and supports, PJ focuses on good teaching practices, data collection, and educational leadership in classrooms. She offers support to all schools on how to work with all students. Her research continues to focus on good teaching and leading in these test-focused times.
